Franklin 54 Gallery + projects focuses on exhibiting abstract/mixed media contemporary fine art by mature established artists. We feel the process is highly important to the finished works and our interest is exploring how the artist got there.
The gallery presents solo and group exhibitions along with special projects. In the past we have had the privilege to host an art auction for Equality Now and exhibit The Creative Center's photography group. We were a past Industry Partner to the American Society of Interior Designers 2010-2011.
Recently we have joined the Host Committee for the United Negro College Fund through Lawrence Klepner and The Art of Giving Back.
Opening on Franklin Street in Tribeca in 2004 we have kept our name and a few exceptional realism artists that have been with us from the beginning.
Gallery Owner/Director Joyce Pommer has had over 20 years experience in the art world as an artist, curator and gallery director.
The gallery is not taking on new artists at this time
