Franklin 54 Gallery + projects focuses on exhibiting abstract/mixed media contemporary fine art by mature established artists.  We feel the process is highly important to the finished works and our interest is exploring how the artist got there.

The gallery presents solo and group exhibitions along with special projects.
In the past we have had the privilege to host an art auction for Equality Now and exhibit
The Creative Center's photography group. And we are proud to be a new Industry Partner to the American Society of Interior Designers (see our link page)

Our new project "The Easels" is held the 3rd Thursday of most months and features small works by 1-2 gallery artists for one evening.  A dialogue takes place between the artist and our invited Guest Moderator to engage the public in viewing, learning the artist's process and encouraging collecting. The project is curated by Elisa Pritzker.

Opening on Franklin Street in Tribeca in 2004 we have kept our name and a few exceptional realism artists that have been with us from the beginning.
